I've been looking for some new smoothie recipes, lately, and this one looks delicious. There are also enough health benefits from it that make me want to give it a try. Unfortunately, being someone who is severely lactose-intolerant, I will need to find a substitute for the yogurt. However, I'm sure there are some out there that I can purchase. Thanks for the recipe!

So how exactly do probiotics work, at least in a curative sense? Also, are there any other ailments that probiotics can calm the symptoms of? And since they are all fermented, could I turn them into alcohol? Then I could finally say that drinking is solving my problems!
